persecutionem patimur, sed non derelinquimur : dejicimur, sed non perimus :

We suffer persecution: but are not forsaken. We are cast down: but we perish not.

διωκόμενοι, ἀλλ’ οὐκ ἐγκαταλειπόμενοι· καταβαλλόμενοι, ἀλλ’ οὐκ ἀπολλύμενοι·"

Quapropter intermittentes inchoationis Christi sermonem, ad perfectiora feramur, non rursum jacientes fundamentum poenitentiae ab operibus mortuis, et fidei ad Deum,

Wherefore, leaving the word of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to things more perfect: not laying again the foundation of penance from dead works and of faith towards God,
