Job 8 12 Cum adhuc sit in flore, nec carpatur manu, ante omnes herbas arescit. When it is yet in flower, and is not plucked u with the hand, it withereth before all herbs. Ἔτι ὂν ἐπὶ ῥίζης, καὶ οὐ μὴ θερισθῇ, πρὸ τοῦ πιεῖν πᾶσα βοτάνη οὐχὶ ξηραίνεται;
Mark 9 17 qui ubicumque eum apprehenderit, allidit illum, et spumat, et stridet dentibus, et arescit : et dixi discipulis tuis ut ejicerent illum, et non potuerunt. Who, wheresoever he taketh him, dasheth him: and he foameth and gnasheth with the teeth and pineth away. And I spoke to thy disciples to cast him out: and they could not.
