For I think that God hath set forth us apostles, the last, as it were men appointed to death. We are made a spectacle to the world and to angels and to men.
1_Corinthians 9 1 Non sum liber ? non sum Apostolus ? nonne Christum Jesum Dominum nostrum vidi ? nonne opus meum vos estis in Domino ? Am I not I free? Am not I an apostle? Have not I seen Christ Jesus our Lord? Are not you my work in the Lord? Οὐκ εἰμὶ ἀπόστολος; Οὐκ εἰμὶ ἐλεύθερος; Οὐχὶ Ἰησοῦν χριστὸν τὸν κύριον ἡμῶν ἑώρακα; Οὐ τὸ ἔργον μου ὑμεῖς ἐστε ἐν κυρίῳ;
And if unto others I be not an apostle, but yet to you I am. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
Have we not power to carry about a woman, a sister as well as the rest of the apostles and the brethren of the Lord and Cephas?
1_Corinthians 12 28 Et quosdam quidem posuit Deus in ecclesia primum apostolos, secundo prophetas, exinde doctores, deinde virtutes, exinde gratias curationum, opitulationes, gubernationes, genera linguarum, interpretationes sermonum. And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors: after that miracles: then the graces of healings, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches.
1_Corinthians 12 29 Numquid omnes apostoli ? numquid omnes prophetae ? numquid omnes doctores ? Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all doctors? Μὴ πάντες ἀπόστολοι; Μὴ πάντες προφῆται; Μὴ πάντες διδάσκαλοι; Μὴ πάντες δυνάμεις;
1_Corinthians 15 7 deinde visus est Jacobo, deinde Apostolis omnibus : After that, he was seen by James: then by all the apostles.
For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

2_Corinthians 11 5 Existimo enim nihil me minus fecisse a magnis Apostolis. For I suppose that I have done nothing less than the great apostles.
2_Corinthians 11 13 Nam ejusmodi pseudoapostoli sunt operarii subdoli, transfigurantes se in apostolos Christi. For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2_Corinthians 12 11 Factus sum insipiens, vos me coegistis. Ego enim a vobis debui commendari : nihil enim minus fui ab iis, qui sunt supra modum Apostoli : tametsi nihil sum : I am become foolish.
