Luke 9 52 Et misit nuntios ante conspectum suum : et euntes intraverunt in civitatem Samaritanorum ut parerent illi. And he sent messengers before his face: and going, they entered into a city of the Samaritans, to prepare for him. καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ· καὶ πορευθέντες εἰσῆλθον εἰς κώμην Σαμαρειτῶν, ὥστε ἑτοιμάσαι αὐτῷ."
Luke 12 20 Dixit autem illi Deus : Stulte, hac nocte animam tuam repetunt a te : quae autem parasti, cujus erunt ? But God said to him: Thou fool, this night do they require thy soul of thee. And whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ θεός, Ἄφρον, ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ τὴν ψυχήν σου ἀπαιτοῦσιν ἀπὸ σοῦ· ἃ δὲ ἡτοίμασας, τίνι ἔσται;"
Luke 12 47 Ille autem servus qui cognovit voluntatem domini sui, et non praeparavit, et non facit secundum voluntatem ejus, vapulabit multis : And that servant, who knew the will of his lord and prepared not himself and did not according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. Ἐκεῖνος δὲ ὁ δοῦλος ὁ γνοὺς τὸ θέλημα τοῦ κυρίου ἑαυτοῦ, καὶ μὴ ἑτοιμάσας μηδὲ ποιήσας πρὸς τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ, δαρήσεται πολλάς·"
Luke 17 8 et non dicat ei : Para quod coenem, et praecinge te, et ministra mihi donec manducem, et bibam, et post haec tu manducabis, et bibes ? And will not rather say to him: Make ready my supper and gird thyself and serve me, whilst I eat and drink; and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink? ἀλλ’ οὐχὶ ἐρεῖ αὐτῷ, Ἑτοίμασον τί δειπνήσω, καὶ περιζωσάμενος διακόνει μοι, ἕως φάγω καὶ πίω· καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα φάγεσαι καὶ πίεσαι σύ;"
Luke 22 8 Et misit Petrum et Joannem, dicens : Euntes parate nobis pascha, ut manducemus. And he sent Peter and John, saying: Go, and prepare for us the pasch, that we may eat. Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Πέτρον καὶ Ἰωάννην, εἰπών, Πορευθέντες ἑτοιμάσατε ἡμῖν τὸ Πάσχα, ἵνα φάγωμεν."
Luke 22 9 At illi dixerunt : Ubi vis paremus ? But they said: Where wilt thou that we prepare? Οἱ δὲ εἶπον αὐτῷ, Ποῦ θέλεις ἑτοιμάσομεν;"
Luke 22 12 Et ipse ostendet vobis coenaculum magnum stratum, et ibi parate. And he will shew you a large dining room, furnished. And there prepare. Κἀκεῖνος ὑμῖν δείξει ἀνώγεον μέγα ἐστρωμένον· ἐκεῖ ἑτοιμάσατε.
Luke 22 13 Euntes autem invenerunt sicut dixit illis, et paraverunt pascha. And they going, found as he had said to them and made ready the pasch. Ἀπελθόντες δὲ εὗρον καθὼς εἴρηκεν αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἡτοίμασαν τὸ Πάσχα."
Luke 23 56 Et revertentes paraverunt aromata, et unguenta : et sabbato quidem siluerunt secundum mandatum. And returning, they prepared spices and ointments: and on the sabbath day they rested, according to the commandment. Ὑποστρέψασαι δὲ ἡτοίμασαν ἀρώματα καὶ μύρα. Καὶ τὸ μὲν σάββατον ἡσύχασαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολήν.
Luke 24 1 Una autem sabbati valde diluculo venerunt ad monumentum, portantes quae paraverant aromata : And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared. Τῇ δὲ μιᾷ τῶν σαββάτων, ὄρθρου βαθέος, ἦλθον ἐπὶ τὸ μνῆμα, φέρουσαι ἃ ἡτοίμασαν ἀρώματα, καί τινες σὺν αὐταῖς."
John 14 2 In domo Patris mei mansiones multae sunt ; si quominus dixissem vobis : quia vado parare vobis locum. In my Father's house there are many mansions. If not, I would have told you: because I go to prepare a place for you. Ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ τοῦ πατρός μου μοναὶ πολλαί εἰσιν· εἰ δὲ μή, εἶπον ἂν ὑμῖν· Πορεύομαι ἑτοιμάσαι τόπον ὑμῖν."
John 14 3 Et si abiero, et praeparavero vobis locum, iterum venio, et accipiam vos ad meipsum : ut ubi sum ego, et vos sitis. And if I shall go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself: that where I am, you also may be. Hebrews 11 16 nunc autem meliorem appetunt, id est, caelestem. Ideo non confunditur Deus vocari Deus eorum : paravit enim illis civitatem. But now they desire a better, that is to say, a heavenly country. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Apocalypse 9 7 Et similitudines locustarum, similes equis paratis in praelium : et super capita earum tamquam coronae similes auro : et facies earum tamquam facies hominum. And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle. And on their heads were, as it were, crowns like gold: and their faces were as the faces of men. Apocalypse 9 15 Et soluti sunt quatuor angeli, qui parati erant in horam, et diem, et mensem, et annum, ut occiderent tertiam partem hominum. And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year: for to kill the third part of men. Apocalypse 12 6 et mulier fugit in solitudinem ubi habebat locum paratum a Deo, ut ibi pascant eam diebus mille ducentis sexaginta. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, that there they should feed her, a thousand two hundred sixty days. Καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ἔφυγεν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον, ὅπου ἔχει ἐκεῖ τόπον ἡτοιμασμένον ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἵνα ἐκεῖ ἐκτρέφωσιν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας χιλίας διακοσίας ἑξήκοντα."
Apocalypse 16 12 Et sextus angelus effudit phialam suam in flumen illud magnum Euphraten : et siccavit aquam ejus, ut praepararetur via regibus ab ortu solis. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon that great river Euphrates and dried up the water thereof, that a way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun. ¶Καὶ ὁ ἕκτος ἐξέχεεν τὴν φιάλην αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ποταμὸν τὸν μέγαν Εὐφράτην· καὶ ἐξηράνθη τὸ ὕδωρ αὐτοῦ, ἵνα ἑτοιμασθῇ ἡ ὁδὸς τῶν βασιλέων τῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῆς ἡλίου."
Apocalypse 19 7 Gaudeamus, et exsultemus : et demus gloriam ei : quia venerunt nuptiae Agni, et uxor ejus praeparavit se. Let us be glad and rejoice and give glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb is come: and his wife hath prepared herself. Χαίρωμεν καὶ ἀγαλλιώμεθα, καὶ δῶμεν τὴν δόξαν αὐτῷ· ὅτι ἦλθεν ὁ γάμος τοῦ ἀρνίου, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ ἡτοίμασεν ἑαυτήν."
Apocalypse 21 2 Et ego Joannes vidi sanctam civitatem Jerusalem novam descendentem de caelo a Deo, paratam sicut sponsam ornatam viro suo. And I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Καὶ τὴν πόλιν τὴν ἁγίαν, Ἱερουσαλὴμ καινήν, εἶδον καταβαίνουσαν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἡτοιμασμένην ὡς νύμφην κεκοσμημένην τῷ ἀνδρὶ αὐτῆς."
