38_1 Καὶ ἐποίησε Βεσελεὴλ τὴν κιβωτόν,
וַ/יַּ֧עַשׂ בְּצַלְאֵ֛ל אֶת הָ/אָרֹ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֨יִם וָ/חֵ֜צִי אָרְכּ֗/וֹ וְ/אַמָּ֤ה וָ/חֵ֨צִי֙ רָחְבּ֔/וֹ וְ/אַמָּ֥ה וָ/חֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽ/וֹ
37:2 Et fecit illi coronam auream per gyrum,
And he made to it a crown of gold round about,
38_2 καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν αὐτὴν χρωσίῳ καθαρῷ ἔσωθεν καὶ ἔξωθεν·
וַ/יְצַפֵּ֛/הוּ זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר מִ/בַּ֣יִת וּ/מִ/ח֑וּץ וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛/וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב
37:3 conflans quatuor annulos aureos per quatuor angulos ejus : duos annulos in latere uno, et duos in altero.
Casting four rings of gold at the four corners thereof: two rings in one side, and two in the other.
38_3 καὶ ἐχώνευσεν αὐτῇ τέσσαρας δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς· δύο ἐπὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ ἓν, καὶ δύο ἐπὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ δεύτερον,

37:4 Vectes quoque fecit de lignis setim, quos vestivit auro,
And he made bars of setim wood, which he overlaid with gold,
καὶ ἐπέθηκαν αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τέσσαρας στύλους ἀσήπτους κατακεχρυσωμένους ἐν χρυσίῳ· καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν χρυσαῖ, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες ἀργυραῖ.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ בַּדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וַ/יְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖/ם זָהָֽב
37:5 et quos misit in annulos, qui erant in lateribus arcae ad portandum eam.
And he put them into the rings that were at the sides of the ark to carry it.
38_4 εὐρεῖς τοῖς διωστῆρσιν, ὥστε αἴρειν αὐτὴν ἐν αὐτοῖς.
וַ/יָּבֵ֤א אֶת הַ/בַּדִּים֙ בַּ/טַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָ/אָרֹ֑ן לָ/שֵׂ֖את אֶת הָ/אָרֹֽן
37:6 Fecit et propitiatorium, id est, oraculum, de auro mundissimo, duorum cubitorum et dimidii in longitudine, et cubiti ac semis in latitudine.
He made also the propitiatory, that is, the oracle, of the purest gold, two cubits and a half in length, and a cubit and a half in breadth.
38_5 Καὶ ἐποίησε τὸ ἱλαστήριον ἐπάνωθεν τῆς κιβωτοῦ ἐκ χρυσίου καθαροῦ,
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ כַּפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָ/חֵ֨צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔/הּ וְ/אַמָּ֥ה וָ/חֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽ/הּ
37:7 Duos etiam cherubim ex auro ductili, quos posuit ex utraque parte propitiatorii :
Two cherubims also of beaten gold, which he set on the two sides of the propitiatory:
38_6 καὶ τοὺς δύο χερουβεὶμ χρυσοῦς·
וַ/יַּ֛עַשׂ שְׁנֵ֥י כְרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ עָשָׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔/ם מִ/שְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַ/כַּפֹּֽרֶת
37:8 cherub unum in summitate unius partis, et cherub alterum in summitate partis alterius : duos cherubim in singulis summitatibus propitiatorii,
One cherub in the top of one side, and the other cherub in the top of the other side: two cherubims at the two ends of the propitiatory,
38_7 χεροὺβ ἕνα ἐπὶ τὸ ἄκρον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου τὸ ἓν, καὶ χεροὺβ ἕνα ἐπὶ τὸ ἄκρον τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου τὸ δεύτερον,
כְּרוּב אֶחָ֤ד מִ/קָּצָה֙ מִ/זֶּ֔ה וּ/כְרוּב אֶחָ֥ד מִ/קָּצָ֖ה מִ/זֶּ֑ה מִן הַ/כַּפֹּ֛רֶת עָשָׂ֥ה אֶת הַ/כְּרֻבִ֖ים מִ/שְּׁנֵ֥י קצוות/ו קְצוֹתָֽי/ו
37:9 extendentes alas, et tegentes propitiatorium, seque mutuo et illud respicientes.
*H Spreading their wings, and covering the propitiatory, and looking one towards the other, and towards it.
Ver. 9. Covering... This indicated that the Scriptures were to be studied with diligence, as they have a literal and a mystical sense. S. Greg. Nys.
38_8 σκιάζοντα ταῖς πτέρυξιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον.
וַ/יִּהְי֣וּ הַ/כְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְ/מַ֗עְלָ/ה סֹֽכְכִ֤ים בְּ/כַנְפֵי/הֶם֙ עַל הַ/כַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּ/פְנֵי/הֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל אָחִ֑י/ו אֶל הַ/כַּפֹּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַ/כְּרֻבִֽים

And he overlaid it with the finest gold, and he made to it a golden ledge round about,
Καὶ τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς πεντήκοντα πήχεων ἱστία, πεντεαίδεκα πήχεων τὸ κατὰ νώτου·

37:12 ipsique labio coronam auream interrasilem quatuor digitorum, et super eamdem, alteram coronam auream.
And to the ledge itself he made a polished crown of gold, of four fingers breadth, and upon the same another golden crown.
καὶ οἱ στύλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς·

37:13 Fudit et quatuor circulos aureos, quos posuit in quatuor angulis per singulos pedes mensae
And he cast four rings of gold, which he put in the four corners at each foot of the table,
Καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ νώτου τοῦ δευτέρου ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν κατὰ τὴν πύλην τῆς αὐλῆς, αὐλαῖαι πεντεκαίδεκα πήχεων· στύλοι αὐτῶν τρεῖς, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τρεῖς·

37:14 contra coronam : misitque in eos vectes, ut possit mensa portari.

38_11 Καὶ τοὺς διωστῆρας τῆς κιβωτοῦ καὶ τῆς τραπέζης ἐποίησε, καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν αὐτοὺς χρυσίῳ.
לְ/עֻמַּת֙ הַ/מִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ הַ/טַּבָּעֹ֑ת בָּתִּים֙ לַ/בַּדִּ֔ים לָ/שֵׂ֖את אֶת הַ/שֻּׁלְחָֽן
37:15 Ipsos quoque vectes fecit de lignis setim, et circumdedit eos auro.
The bars also themselves he made of setim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
Καὶ αἱ βάσεις τῶν στύλων αὐτῶν χαλκαῖ, καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ, καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ, καὶ οἱ στύλοι περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ πάντες οἱ στύλοι τῆς αὐλῆς·

37:16 Et vasa ad diversos usus mensae, acetabula, phialas, et cyathos, et thuribula, ex auro puro, in quibus offerenda sunt libamina.
*H And the vessels for the divers uses of the table, dishes, bowls, and cups, and censers of pure gold, wherein the libations are to be offered.

38_12 Καὶ ἐποίησε τὰ σκεύη τῆς τραπέζης, τά τε τρυβλία, καὶ τὰς θυίσκας, καὶ τοὺς κυάθους, καὶ τὰ σπονδεῖα, ἐν οἷς σπείσει ἐν αὐτοῖς, χρυσᾶ.
וַ/יַּ֜עַשׂ אֶֽת הַ/כֵּלִ֣ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל הַ/שֻּׁלְחָ֗ן אֶת קְעָרֹתָ֤י/ו וְ/אֶת כַּפֹּתָי/ו֙ וְ/אֵת֙ מְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔י/ו וְ/אֶת הַ/קְּשָׂוֺ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּ/הֵ֑ן זָהָ֖ב טָהֽוֹר
37:17 Fecit et candelabrum ductile de auro mundissimo, de cujus vecte calami, scyphi, sphaerulaeque, ac lilia procedebant :
He made also the candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold. from the shaft whereof its branches, its cups, and bowls, and lilies came out:
καὶ οἱ στύλοι αὐτῶν τέσσαρες, καὶ αἱ βάσεις αὐτῶν τέσσαρες χαλκαῖ, καὶ αἱ ἀγκύλαι αὐτῶν ἀργυραῖ, καὶ αἱ κεφαλίδες αὐτῶν περιηργυρωμέναι ἀργυρίῳ.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת הַ/מְּנֹרָ֖ה זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה עָשָׂ֤ה אֶת הַ/מְּנֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣/הּ וְ/קָנָ֔/הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛י/הָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥י/הָ וּ/פְרָחֶ֖י/הָ מִמֶּ֥/נָּה הָיֽוּ
37:18 sex in utroque latere, tres calami ex parte una, et tres ex altera :
Six on the two sides: three branches on one side, and three on the other.
Καὶ πάντες οἱ πάσσαλοι τῆς αὐλῆς κύκλῳ χαλκοῖ, καὶ αὐτοὶ περιηργυρωμένοι ἀργυρίῳ.
וְ/שִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִ/צִּדֶּ֑י/הָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִ/צִּדָּ/הּ֙ הָֽ/אֶחָ֔ד וּ/שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִ/צִּדָּ֖/הּ הַ/שֵּׁנִֽי
37:19 tres scyphi in nucis modum per calamos singulos, sphaerulaeque simul et lilia : et tres scyphi instar nucis in calamo altero, sphaerulaeque simul et lilia. Aequum erat opus sex calamorum, qui procedebant de stipite candelabri.
Three cups in manner of a nut on each branch, and bowls withal and lilies: and three cups of the fashion of a nut in another branch, and bowls withal and lilies. The work of the six branches, that went out from the shaft of the candlestick was equal.
Καὶ αὕτη ἡ σύνταξις τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καθὰ συνετάγη Μωυσῇ, τὴν λειτουργίαν εἶναι τῶν Λευιτῶν διὰ Ἰθάμαρ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως.
שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְ֠בִעִים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים בַּ/קָּנֶ֣ה הָ/אֶחָד֮ כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָ/פֶרַח֒ וּ/שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְבִעִ֗ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים בְּ/קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָ֖ד כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָ/פָ֑רַח כֵּ֚ן לְ/שֵׁ֣שֶׁת הַ/קָּנִ֔ים הַ/יֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן הַ/מְּנֹרָֽה
37:20 In ipso autem vecte erant quatuor scyphi in nucis modum, sphaerulaeque per singulos simul et lilia :
And in the shaft itself were four cups after the manner of a nut, and bowls withal at every one, and lilies:
Καὶ Βεσελεὴλ ὁ τοῦ Οὐρείου, ἐκ φυλῆς Ἰούδα, ἐποίησε καθὰ συνέταξε Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ,

37:21 et sphaerulae sub duobus calamis per loca tria, qui simul sex fiunt calami procedentes de vecte uno.
And bowls under two branches in three places, which together made six branches going out from one shaft.
καί Ελιαβ ὁ ὁ Αχισαμακ ἐκ ὁ φυλή Δαν ὅς ἀρχιτεκτονέω ὁ ὑφαντός καί ὁ ῥαφιδευτός καί ποικιλτικός ὑφαίνω ὁ κόκκινος καί ὁ βύσσος

37:22 Et sphaerulae igitur, et calami ex ipso erant, universa ductilia ex auro purissimo.
So both the bowls, and the branches were of the same, all beaten work of the purest gold.
כַּפְתֹּרֵי/הֶ֥ם וּ/קְנֹתָ֖/ם מִמֶּ֣/נָּה הָי֑וּ כֻּלָּ֛/הּ מִקְשָׁ֥ה אַחַ֖ת זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר
37:23 Fecit et lucernas septem cum emunctoriis suis, et vasa ubi ea, quae emuncta sunt, extinguantur, de auro mundissimo.
He made also the seven lamps with their snuffers, and the vessels where the snuffings were to be put out, of the purest gold.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת נֵרֹתֶ֖י/הָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וּ/מַלְקָחֶ֥י/הָ וּ/מַחְתֹּתֶ֖י/הָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר
37:24 Talentum auri appendebat candelabrum cum omnibus vasis suis.
The candlestick with all the vessels thereof weighed a talent of gold.
כִּכָּ֛ר זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר עָשָׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑/הּ וְ/אֵ֖ת כָּל כֵּלֶֽי/הָ
37:25 Fecit et altare thymiamatis de lignis setim, per quadrum singulos habens cubitos, et in altitudine duos : e cujus angulis procedebant cornua.
He made also the alter of incense of setim wood, being a cubit on every side foursquare, and in height two cubits: from the corners of which went out horns.
וַ/יַּ֛עַשׂ אֶת מִזְבַּ֥ח הַ/קְּטֹ֖רֶת עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּ֣ה אָרְכּ/וֹ֩ וְ/אַמָּ֨ה רָחְבּ֜/וֹ רָב֗וּעַ וְ/אַמָּתַ֨יִם֙ קֹֽמָת֔/וֹ מִמֶּ֖/נּוּ הָי֥וּ קַרְנֹתָֽי/ו
37:26 Vestivitque illud auro purissimo cum craticula ac parietibus et cornibus.
And he overlaid it with the purest gold, with its grate, and the sides, and the horns.
וַ/יְצַ֨ף אֹת֜/וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֗וֹר אֶת גַּגּ֧/וֹ וְ/אֶת קִירֹתָ֛י/ו סָבִ֖יב וְ/אֶת קַרְנֹתָ֑י/ו וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛/וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב
37:27 Fecitque ei coronam aureolam per gyrum, et duos annulos aureos sub corona per singula latera, ut mittantur in eos vectes, et possit altare portari.
And he made to it a crown of gold round about, and two golden rings under the crown at each side, that the bars might be put into them, and the altar be carried.

37:28 Ipsos autem vectes fecit de lignis setim, et operuit laminis aureis.
And the bars themselves he made also of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of gold.
38_17 Καὶ ἑπτὰ λύχνους ἐπʼ αὐτῆς χρυσοῦς, καὶ τὰς λαβίδας αὐτῆς χρυσᾶς, καὶ τὰς ἐπαρυστρίδας αὐτῶν χρυσᾶς. 28a Οὗτος περιηργύρωσε τοὺς στύλους, καὶ ἐχώνευσε τῷ στύλῳ δακτυλίους χρυσοῦς, καὶ ἐχρύσωσε τοὺς μοχλοὺς χρυσίῳ, καὶ κατεχρύσωσε τοὺς στύλους τοῦ καταπετάσματος χρυσίῳ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὰς ἀγκύλας χρυσᾶς.

37:29 Composuit et oleum ad sanctificationis unguentum, et thymiama de aromatibus mundissimis opere pigmentarii.
He compounded also the oil for the ointment of sanctification, and incense of the purest spices, according to the work of a perfumer.
38_25 Οὗτος ἐποίησε τὸ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως τὸ ἅγιον, καὶ τὴν σύνθεσιν τοῦ θυμιάματος καθαρὸν ἔργον μυρεψοῦ·
וַ/יַּ֜עַשׂ אֶת שֶׁ֤מֶן הַ/מִּשְׁחָה֙ קֹ֔דֶשׁ וְ/אֶת קְטֹ֥רֶת הַ/סַּמִּ֖ים טָה֑וֹר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֹקֵֽחַ
